Hi everyone, what a beautiful day, so I thought ok go shopping this morning and do some gardening this afternoon........OOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHH am I suffering now, I have been off my MTX for a week due to an infection, but luckily I had my injection last night, but I guess it will take a while to get back to it again, it has also been increased from 15 to 20 mg, so now I am sitting in the lounge while the other half gets the dinner ready, my fingers and knees think they have run a marathon and been playing the piano for a month!!!!!!
So guess what i'm doing tomorrow....nothing !
Hope everyone is pain free and not been stupid like me, I still cant get my head around not being able to do everything like I used to !!

Yep, been there, done that and got the T shirt! We all overdo it thinking we are superwoman and then suffer for it later. Have a good rest tomorrow, take some painkillers as well. I did sit in the garden to have my lunch and read the paper and take note of what needs doing this weekend but you have to learn to pace yourself.
I am on 20 mgs now having been reduved from 25 recently.
If you have been on MTX for a while, missing it for a week won't make a difference as it has a cumulative effect. I was off it for 4 weeks when I had the really nasty chest infection going round earlier in the year and suffered no real problems at all - maybe due to the enforced rest as well!
It's 5 years since I was diagnosed and I still think I can do everything, like climb Everest before breakfast, do 10 rounds with a champion boxer, play 2 rounds of golf and go Zumba dancing. I can't of course.!
Awww i do feel for you wendy...its so hard not to overdo things...especially wen the sunshine beckons...and the garden needs a tweak....ive been looking after my 6 month old grandaughter and my lower back is screaming at me...hope yr meds kick in agen quickly...and enjoy yr dinner and day off tomorro..x
Don't start me on this one lol. I do it constantly, the second I feel better I am off doing this and that , can't just do one thing have to multitask. But then bang laid up again. I really need to get better at this pacing lark too!!!!! Sending soft hugs xxx
