Hi everyone, what a beautiful day, so I thought ok go shopping this morning and do some gardening this afternoon........OOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHH am I suffering now, I have been off my MTX for a week due to an infection, but luckily I had my injection last night, but I guess it will take a while to get back to it again, it has also been increased from 15 to 20 mg, so now I am sitting in the lounge while the other half gets the dinner ready, my fingers and knees think they have run a marathon and been playing the piano for a month!!!!!!

So guess what i'm doing tomorrow....nothing !

Hope everyone is pain free and not been stupid like me, I still cant get my head around not being able to do everything like I used to !!

Wendy xx

Yep, been there, done that and got the T shirt! We all overdo it thinking we are superwoman and then suffer for it later. Have a good rest tomorrow, take some painkillers as well. I did sit in the garden to have my lunch and read the paper and take note of what needs doing this weekend but you have to learn to pace yourself.

I am on 20 mgs now having been reduved from 25 recently.

If you have been on MTX for a while, missing it for a week won't make a difference as it has a cumulative effect. I was off it for 4 weeks when I had the really nasty chest infection going round earlier in the year and suffered no real problems at all - maybe due to the enforced rest as well!

It's 5 years since I was diagnosed and I still think I can do everything, like climb Everest before breakfast, do 10 rounds with a champion boxer, play 2 rounds of golf and go Zumba dancing. I can't of course.!
