MY LOVELY HUSBAND HAS GONE AND BROUGHT ME A HALOGEN OVEN,

I have a gas one at the moment which is low down so this will really help, i have been told that they are really good, i will let you know, unless some of you already have one and can give me some tips xxx

they are fab!

things cook a lot quicker so check after a third of the time and then keep an eye on things.

I wouldn't be without mine. :)

Thanks Jo I know what you mean about at times, When he walked in with it, i said is this for my benefit or yours darling, he just smiled and said you of course, but i suppose at least he thought about me to :))))) XX

I have one for the last couple of years and couldn't live without it. I use it as you would use an oven. Just make sure that you don't cover your food completely as it would prevent it to cook, i.e using a pyrex dish with lid on it.

If you reheat pre-prepared food that is covered with a thin plastic film. You can pierce it but make sure that it is firmly secured because if can fly away and stick to the bottom of the lid.

Thanks for the great advice, i will be trying it today, so will let you know how i get on, with my wrists and knees sore today this is going to come in really handy xxx

They are fantastic had one for about 2 years and couldn't live without it I have cooked half leg of lamb, chickens, etc even does cheese on toast. I have used my main oven twice in 12months. Enjoy. Shazbat x
