I am on day 4 and using patches and a spray. The spray is helping giving an instant help cravings. But it makes me feel really sick. Does anyone have any recommendations for an alternative?

Hello, i am on day 24, using a vape pen. I tried lozenges and the made me feel sick and sometimes even the vape makes me gag. I feel like it is the nicotine. Could it possibly be too much in one hit?

It could be I used it yesterday more than I did the previous days. It put me off using it today. But I did use it twice. Well done on your 24th day!

Thank you! How does the spray work? My friend gave up over a year now, using champix tablets. I am thinking of trying those. Do the patches make any difference?

Basically the spray is pretty instant for helping your cravings. It tastes awful, which I didn’t mind because I wasn’t wanting to use it too much. The patches do make a difference. But I still do get cravings. I read somewhere that using 2 treatments like that helped your chances of stopping. I didn’t actually realise how much the patches were helping until I didn’t put one on until after lunch today.

Does it give you that hit in the throat? The lozenges did... but instantly made me feel sick. This is the longest I have gone without a cigarette in 13 years. I still want them. But I do feel like a little weight has been lifted from not counting down how long until the next one and worrying about running out. Its hard though. How long did you smoke? How many did you smoke? Have you spoken to your doctors about stop smoking service?

It’s more on the tongue than the throat tbh. But maybe it is the awful taste that makes you forget instantly about the craving. Is the vape working for you?

Its never going to be the same, as I really enjoyed smoking. But it does take away the craving and I don’t use it as much, as I woukd spark up, as if i use it too much in one go, its not very nice. I have tried before with the bigger expensive vapes and flavoured juices. But I decided to just go get a simple cheap pen that is sold in poundland and the highest stregnth menthol juice and it seems to be doing the trick so far
