Roses are red,

Violets are blue,

I'm still not smoking,

How about you?

I know that I shall never see

A cigarette as lovely as a tree.

Mary had a little cig,

The tube was white as snow

And everywhere that Mary went

That cig was sure to go.

It followed her to school one day

Which was against the rule

So Mary quit cold turkey

Mama din't raise no fool.
