Still coughing up the crud but the cravings are fewer. I am going to a Pilates class this morning.
Yesterday my 12 year old son saw an ad for Sport Relief and said he wanted to run the Mile race they are doing. I said I would run with him. I wouldn't have considered a run before but now I feel I can.

I have too started running and I would not have contemplated it before. I think running and quitting go hand in hand. Everytime I run I feel so pleased with myself about not smoking - great feeling. I'm doing the couch to 5k - google it - it's a great and very achievable.
Keep up the smoke free life - it really does get easier .. promise
Well done you and hope the force stays with you LOL
As for pilots I have thought about that or yoga as need to do something exercise wise but dont fancy going on my own as most groups are already started so feel bit out of it LOL
So if any one in my area and fancies either joining group or we could start one email me
Other than that theres swimming been told thats the best exercise for everything and next cycling and walking
Oh wish I loved exercise like so many on this site seem to do I think also when you get to my age you are a bit scared if you havent done anything realy energetic for years LOL
Just got back from my Pilates class. It was a bit tough stretching and using some muscles that have been dormant for years! I enjoyed it, though. I bumped into someone I knew in the class which was a bonus.
I will be glad when all the crud has gone. I suppose it is hard to say how long this will take.

I will check out Couch to 5k. I think I can get it as an app for my phone. Thanks, Jenny.
