Thanks John, much of it down to the support i get on here including your own posts. Somedays I can't believe how good it has been, Of course I had bad days but I got those whether I smoked or not.
I still have moments where it's like a dream and i'm scared i'll wake up and be a smoker in that nightmare cycle again *shudders*.
Anyone out there thinking of quitting - take it from me the worst part is while you are smoking and wishing you could stop. Stopping isn't anywhere near as bad as that feeling of despair i permanently felt as a smoker.
Damn, i'm good
(of course the non stop treats i've given myself since stopping - the sweeties, the clothes, the takeaways help too... :o)
Hya, am here, feeling more positive day by day. Sat in a pub garden yesterday in the lovely sun and could smell the whiff of other peoples' ciggies and didn't have any regrets at all. My moods seem to be getting on a even keel, (my hubby might not agree) lol but i'm actually happy about not smoking and tonight is the 1st night in ages that I've had a glass of red, just one glass.
My friend thinks i have had a personality transplant as drinking loads of water, only 1 cupp of tea a day the rest herbal and not drinking wine or smoking, perhaps I have!!!
Anyway, couldn't of done it without you guys on here, so a big Thankyou
Well done you two.
It is sad when teams 'slim' down' after a time..but often people do try again after a short while.
You two are doing great!

Here Here, I totally agree with that.
I too was sat in a pub garden the other day enjoying the sun until two smokers sat next to me, horrible, there should be a dingy shed at the bottom of the garden where they should go! lol

Glad Della is still with me (Allan can ya hear me...?)
Plus LOL at Marks suggestion about sending smokers inside when it's sunny outside! You can't have it all ways ya know...
Right i'm gonna bugger off , lots of things to do, none of them involve smoking thank God.
Have a good one everybody!
Right...thousand apologies to all! It's not that I've not wanted to come on here...I just never have the time these days. Poor excuse...I know! Still nic free. Can't believe it. To be honest, I don't even think about smoking now. However, I'm not being complacent...just in case! Tell you what...this forum is by far the best smoking cessation aid going. Loads of support and help...exactly when you need it. And yes...a big thanks to one and all, cos I would never have made it this far. Actually, I do feel a little guilty for not being around So apologies once again.
Hey Wkd...am I still allowed to move into the new room, or is my abscence going against me?
Oh Allan, you do whatever makes you happy!
It's your room too, i'm just glad you weren't chugging a packet of 20 in ya LOL

Hi Team 17 how are we all doing haven't heard from you guys for a while, I know what it is like, sometimes I go a few days without coming on here I try and wean myself off here as thought I was becoming addicted!!!! lol
Am still doing okay, have about 3-4 pieces of chewing gum a day and hardly any craves for a ciggie, sometimes they are a passing thought but not a crave anymore, its amazing that in the first few days you would never imagine feeling like this.
Off to do the housework now, kids on half term, house looks like bomb has hit it!!!!
Speak soon,
