I blood tested with a sibling 20 years ago and we cross matched well but someone else donated to them. We are about to start the blood testing phase now and I was wondering if a strong cross match stays that way or if it can change over time.

I'm not certain, though I believe the HLA antigens stay the same because they are a part of our DNA. I think it's possible though for antibodies to develop which may play a role in whether or not they would approve you. I hope it works out!
Hi. Has your sibling had any blood transfusions over the last 20 years? If so, that can change the make up. I had one and mine changed. My transplant coordinator said it can occur . Good luck- I hope you still match.
Is not only matter of cross matching. Your entire health status must be re-evaluated. One of primary target is to not to compromise life of the donor. All the best
