Hi All!

Hope all are well! I will be moving because my fiance has a job transfer. I need to establish care with a new nephrologist in the Jacksonville, FL area. Can anyone please help? It would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

I used webmd.com when we moved from WI to WY. When the site comes up just go to FIND A DOCTOR. The site will have you put in your location you are moving to. Usually you can also see patient reviews and pick the doctor you think has your values.

Using the site I found a great primary care doctor and my nephrologist. I am now 24+ years post transplant.

Hope this helps. Take care

Also check your insurance plan. Companies post lists of approved doctors, including nephrologists, often with reviews. The lists can be sorted by state and area. If you can't find the list for your plan, simply give the company a call.
