Gall bladder surgery

Hello guys I hope you all are doing well. Three days back I got my gallbladder removed because of the stone. Is there anyone who got it done after a kidney transplant?

I got my gallbladder removed about 18 months ago due to a "sick" gallbladder. I am 23+ years post transplant.

okk so how everything going after that and digestion issues or anything?

At first after the surgery everything was OK. But this last 8-9 months I started having stomach aches, gas, bloating, cramps and diarrhea probably at least once a week. I finally went to my surgeon and started taking Cholestrymine powder. I mix it a glass of water every morning. Taking it once a day has literally changed my life. No more GI issues as soon as I started taking it. Some people have to take the powder before every meal. I am just glad that once a day did the trick for me. I guess the powder was originally for high cholesterol. Guess I will have great cholesterol numbers
