Swollen lymph nodes

hi all - off the bat, I know swollen lymph nodes after the Covid vaccine/booster are common and a good thing - yay immune system working. However, I have seemingly sporadically been getting swollen lymph nodes here and there the past several months that don’t seem to be directly tied to the booster. I first found (armpit) one I think may/June but that was well after my 1st booster (4th shot overall). Then I had another one pop up (collar bone) after getting my 2nd booster, sure, makes sense I guess. I have a history of PTLD but that was years ago (It was spurred by mono and they took me off my immunosuppressants briefly and then changed me from Neoral to Cellcept thereafter). I told my primary care who ordered a CT scan but insurance wouldn’t cover it. After fighting insurance the lymph node went away anyway so pointless and I never got it checked out. I just found another lymph node (armpit again) yesterday but it’s been months since my last booster and 3 weeks since I got Evusheld. My question, had anyone else had this issue after boosters? Do you think that it’s still from the boosters? Immunosuppressants can delay things right maybe it’s just my body still developing antibodies? (I’ve been in a study and I know I have amounted significant antibodies -yay!). Can PTLD come back? But I feel fine otherwise. For reference 31 yrs post transplant only on mycophenolate. Thanks for any info/insight

Not to be a downer, but I don't know if related to covid, but my mother had non-hodgkins lymphoma and it started in her armpits.

I would rather speak the truth though I concur with what you wrote. My spouse on his 30th bday was diagnosed via a lymph node swollen and biopsied with Hodgekins lymphoma cancer. While going through chemo 9 mos and many CAT scans, that is how his PKD was found and fast forward to age 59 and kidney transplant happened. I would say SOct91 should push for more medical checking to rule out cancer. I am sorry to say that, but please do. I wish you all the best SOct91 and also Blackmidnight too.

My hubby, also with a transplant, has been getting all his covid shots (including the latest covid and flu vaccines) without any side effects other than a sore arm for a short time. He's also on the schedule for the next Evusheld booster in November, and he hasn't ever had issues with that one either. His lymph nodes simply never swell. Then, there's me - my lymph nodes nearest to the injection site always swell up to walnut size, particularly those under the armpit, no matter what type of vaccine administered. The swelling recedes over a good week's time or so. I also get lymph node swelling around my head or under my chin or down my neck when I get insect bites, scratches, sore throats or infections, in that area The important thing is that I (or my doctor) can generally find a reason for those swollen nodes. Yours seem to much more random. I would definitely check out your situation with your medical team to get ahead of the issue. Those swollen nodes can impact your day-to-day living - mine can hurt, restrict movement, present fatigue, etc. And then my "sitting and spinning" can lead to all sorts of confusions and anxieties, etc. For me, I'd want to know, take care of it, and put my mind to rest.

Just letting you know I read this. I have absolutely no clue. Hopefully someone with some experience will chime in.

Swollen lymph nodes is not a "good" thing. It is a vaccine injury. Check FLCCC.
