Many Options for Mental Health

I really liked what some of you are saying! Especially short term goals rather than getting overwhelmed with you side effects now and how others are describing their conditions. Everyone is different and everyone reacts differently from meds but it can be a common thread of the side effects. I am almost 20 years out and I had another TX kidney in 1978 that went until 2000 with completely different meds and I had no effects like these that I have now. Transplantation is a gift not a death sentence with your feeling and I have had them before you must go see a therapist!! Therapy is offered big time during covid and free! Many TX centers have support groups. I would also pull out a journal and start writing things down like you have told us but these feelings need to be dealt with immediately! Transplantation should not make you feel this way!! Al TX centers have social workers. You absolutely have to change your perspective but with help and I also would really reflect on why you are hating you...the transplant itself is not the real reason. I would also be careful in putting it out there on what YOU THINK IS BEST FOR YOURSELF...because suicide is. Not the answer. Someone died or donated this kidney to you please seek help because there is help trust me I know exactly how you feel and it can get better. Let me know how you are doing as well as the group. We all need to support each pther!!

This forum is a form of therapy in that you are given the opportunity to share your inner most feelings. So I appreciate your post. But as I and others should take in mind we are only getting a small glimpse of the what is happening in each person's life. Suggesting professional health is the wisest choice and listening without judgement is important also. Thanks again for posting and take care.
