Hello everyone I just wanted to give you guys an update that I got my first Covid vaccine on Thursday (Pfizer) and I have to say it wasn’t that bad I really didn’t have any side effects just my arm being a little swollen and I have to teach the second shot on July 8. Hope the second one affects me the same way the first one did. LOL 😂

Glad you decided to get the shot. It may not provide complete immunity but it is a start. Take care and enjoy your new life.

Thanks I know that it’s not complete full immunity for us however it is a start and IEN definitely still going to practice safety precautions when I leave my house. Take care of yourself and stay healthy

My arm wasn't sore but after both shots I kind of passed out a little. From what I have been reading online the shots may not have worked for those of us on life long immune suppressed systems. I believe 40% is the latest study where 40% of immune suppressed people had the correct protection. All we can do is keep on truckin' until some better news breaks. I'm glad you got your shots though.

Oh God don’t tell me that I was already skeptical about taking the vaccine but now to hear that it may be compromised to people like us is not A good feeling. I just hope and pray that the vaccine works for us as it does for people who does not have a compromised immune system. But even after we are all fully vaccinated we still need to practice safety precautions I know I am. Please stay safe!!
