a 50 years old patient had a creatinine of 100uMol/L and a urine protein/ creatinine ratio of 200(Normal< 200). A renal biopsy revealed a Score of M0E0S1T0-C0.
Does anybody have an idea on the prognosis?
Does the usage of ARB to control proteinuria mean no progression of disease if there is no more proteinuria?

If I I understand your question correctly, just because you don’t have protein in your urine does not mean the disease is dormant. But it does mean that it’s moving more slowly than if there was protein in your urine. At least that has been my experience. I also have IGA Nephropathy.
I don’t have my biopsy report and I don’t think my proteinuria would help you because I am now on dialysis. But if you still want to know, I will look it up.
Hi Lim, wondering how are you now? And what medications are you on. I just had my biopsy done but my doctor suspects that I might have igA based on my creatinine alone.
