Hi I just wanted to introduce myself, I'm a mum of 3 and my 2 boys now age 16 and 15 have both had double transplants . The younger one had liver and kidney aged 25 months and the older one had 2 liver transplants 9 months later aged 4.5 years. This is due to primary hyperoxaluria type one and oxalosis. The younger ones kidneys failed aged 10 months and spent the time till his transplant on dialysis. Over all they are doing ok health wise though the younger ones transplanted kidney is now failing he also has ADHD, I have a little girl too who is 9 years old and is autistic , never a dull moment in our house 😂😂 hope you are all doing well ! Hi Sparklyjo! You are one tough mama! My son had a kidney transplant last November. This was after months of misdiagnoses of kidney failure (believe it or not!), plus after open-heart surgery for a congenital heart defect that went undetected. He also has high-functioning autism. He was on dialysis for 2 1/2 years but is doing well with his new bean so far! I wish you and all of your children well and a healthy life.

Aww bless him . Glad hes doing well . The misdiagnosed my younger boy too . You are a tough mummy too hunni . It's hard having sick kids xxxx
