Find a new doctor. If you have Medicare and Aetna they will usually pay for it as preventative care or as part of the transplant evaluation. Do you have a plan to be able to afford your co-pays for your transplant meds?

If you like your current insurance (other than they don't want to give you a colonoscopy until you pay $35), why don't you do a GoFund me for you family and friends or ask for donations and explain your cause. If you raise more than you need, put the money aside and use it for maybe another procedure you might need to pay for.
