I found that the weight gain leveled off after the first year, but do not have diabetes to contend with. The meds are most definitely a major culprit. I walk daily, outside when its nice, a very inexpensive treadmill when it is not. Nothing crazy, I turn on the TV, and walk for a half hour or more. That has helped. I also watch my diet, for overall health reasons.

Definitely talk with the Drs about other med options. Side effects should be addressed by your care team. Best of luck.
