Hello, I’m curious if anyone else felt that their tummy looked bigger for a long while after surgery. I’m over a month post-op and still feel like my lower belly is pooching out considerably — even though I don’t feel bloated and am having regular digestion for 2-3 weeks. Is it still swelling from continuous healing? My doctors are telling me to be patient and I’m trying not to let a cosmetic aspect take away from the great experience I had (no regrets at all!), but it’s proving tougher to ignore now that I’m over a month out. Thanks for sharing any similar experiences!

CONGRATULATIONS on your donation! I donated over 15 years ago, but I do still remember feeling the same way you are feeling.... IT GOES AWAY!!!! Relax and do give yourself time to heal, both physically and mentally knowing what an amazing thing you did for someone!!
