Well guys, I had an MRi last Friday. They found a 2 inch complex mass attached to my left kidney. There is a 60% chance that it is malignant. I am being scheduled to meet with a surgeon. I'm scared of course. Anybody have any experience with this? If they remove it, should I just have the mass removed, or part of the kidney, or all of the kidney? I am currently Stage 3b CKD.

I am sorry you are going through this scary experience! The decision about what steps to take should be up to your doctors and the diagnosis. While advice from someone on this site might be tempting, we do not know the specifics of your particular case and we are not doctors. I know members of this community, like myself, will wish you the best and will send prayers and good vibes your way, that is all we should do. Remember, there is still a 40% chance that the mass will be benign. Let's hope for that outcome. Remember, Jesus has got this!
hay as your log on said jesus has got this think positive thought leave it in his hands prayers lifted for you .
prayers for you, my husband had the same issue several months ago. They had to remove the kidney although it ended up benign. He is ESRD on PD dialysis, he is doing fine and on transplant list .
