Good grief what a cross you have to bear. I dont share any of your problems of having a child on dialysis , but I hear your pain and feel for you. I hope and pray that some positives come your way soon so that you can stay strong with what you have to do. Please let us know how things are going. You can get a lot of support from this community who may share some of your pain.
I pray for your daughter and your strength at this time. I am seriously considering PD as a senior and was caught off guard by your comment that this process is exhausting for you. I pray it becomes easier and that the transplant comes at just the right time. For me too! Blessings, and this support here is great so come back if needed. BB
Thank you so much for your kind words & I hope you are ok. PD is a necessity but can be very overwhelming. I am sending lots of positivity & good luck back to you.
This is heartbreaking. We never think that things can go upside down to this extent with our children. Praying that a transplant comes sooner than later, re-establishing normality in your lives.
Thank you for your kindness, it's very daunting knowing I am the donor & the reason the transplant may fail we have a long way to go before that happens but we have to keep thinking positively not matter how hard it is.
I have been my husband’s caregiver for almost 2 years, he is in PD and I feel you. The only thing that keeps me going is to see him enjoying another day. God provided us with a third kidney and that is the peritoneum. I am sure that your baby girl is very lucky because she has an amazing mom. Be strong for her the same way you have been throughout this time. I’ll keep you and your baby in my prayers.
