Anyone Else??

I've been on hemo dialysis 5 years (going on 6). I'm on my 2nd graft. I've had my parathyroid removed due to calcium issues. Now my hands tingle & feel like they are going to sleep when I hold a pen or do something with small items (stirring, typing, holding the remote, knitting etc) Has anyone else had this experience? Is there a solutuon??

Hi Shelbert66, I have some issues like this. Since my fistula placement surgery 11 years ago. My hand goes to sleep while sleeping if I get in the wrong position. I do Nocturnal Home Hemo so I have learned to sleep with my arm straight and it is better. I also have had parathyroid surgery. My other hand does it some, so I may have other issues. Check with your Dr., maybe some therapy is in order.

Thanks for your reply. I will bring it up to Doc next time I see him. (We see Doc or his PA once a week)
