You need to get a grip. Diaylsis is not a pleasant thing, but it beats being in the ground.

If you can't stand the diaylsis, go to the testing for a transplant. Once you get a transplant you can go back to living an almost normal life.

I was replying to the person who has only been on dialysis for 6 months and wants to quit because it is too painful and he would rather die than go to diaylsis. I know everyone has an occasional day when things look bad, but be an adult and do what needs to be done.

Hi i don't think giving up is the best thing to do. Lets say you do dialysis for 2 hrs for five to six days a week this is a very small time compared to what you could miss when u let go. i bet your family and friends are always with you. supporting your ups and downs for this just look at it a one of your many downs and will always come up smiling. You are not alone in this fight. we all have it and together we are going to make look much easier with the tips from our doctors and all that have been in our shoes at one point or the other. Be strong and alwaays look for the positive of the hell we are all going through. Good luck and hope u have more good days than the bad ones.
