Getting Discouraged

I am on hemodialysis three days a week for 3.5 hours. Been doing this for 13 years. I have been trying to get ready to get on the list but there is one road block after another. The latest....hystoplasmosis. It will take months to get over it. There have been so many road blocks I have been taken off the list of people trying to get on the list at least for now. Very discouraging!

I cant imagine how hard this is for you. That completely sucks !!! My heart aches immensely for you. What are the doctors saying is causing all these roadblocks ? No matter what, we are praying that you be put on the list, that you are able to REMAIN on the list, and that God continue to strengthen you while His will is being done !!! I will also pray that the doctors give you the quality or care needed to increase your health enough to qualify for the list......this is so disheartening to hear 😩.

I echo what others have said. You’re in my thoughts and prayers. And definitely talk with your medical team. Ask them to be candid with you; tell you EXACTLY what you need to do to get healthy and stay healthy. I often find that nurse practitioners are my best sources for this sort of information. None of us can take good care of ourselves without complete and accurate information.
