Hello all

I just need to introduce my self. I was diagnosed with CKD 2 years ago March. Short story, back pain, urine like tea, really high blood pressure, yellow skin tone, I am a brown woman. Drs appointment to the Emergency room, my body was in sepsis. Why, autoimmune disease attacked my kidney. After 3 months of test, hospitals, etc, 3 months of recovery. Back to work one year now medications, different diet no potassium and check ups.

After 2 years I decided I need to reach out to a community of people like me. Anyone out there that has an autoimmune disease and CKD??

CKD in 2017; Lupus in 2019.

Yes, I'm hypothyroid. I'm sure the two are linked. I'm not certain, but think the hypothyroid was first.
