check out the nkf davita list of foods and then just go to the grocery store....read the labels and try to avoid the processed foods.start with veggies, chicken, fish, etc if youre not allergic and go easy on red meats

I have been on a CKD prescribed diet and it has helped me. It is based on bloodwork for protein, phosphorus, potassium and sodium. This diet also helps me get the nutrients I need.

Go to Kidney org and consult a dietician. The place to buy the right food is the supermarket. There are NI magic foods. Learn the nutrient breakdown of foods and what amounts are appropriate for your stage of disease.

People will argue about this, but there is no food that will improve kidney function. You can only hope to preserve it or slow the decline by avoiding foods that make your kidneys work harder.
