Hi. I am awaiting a kidney biopsy. I had a 24-hour urine test completed that showed 160 protein total, after a random put me at +2 for protein. My doctor thinks it's from Ibrufran 800 , that she prescribed for years.
I just turned 44, no diabetes. Two younger kids, so I'm really worried as I don't know if there's a chance it's not CKD; my doctor says it's too high to have been from stress.

At least your doctor admits the issue. I was on prescribed NSAIDs for 3 years. Destroyed my kidneys. Good news is, if it turns out you do have CKD you caught it early and there is a ton of things you can do once you know if that is the issue. Come back to us when you find out what is goinig on.
Not to worry Mikej05 I was diagnosed post-AKI, multi-organ failure due to complete kidney failure…so CKD turned to AKI resulting in multi-systems failure and clinical death, with the EKG printouts as evidence…6/7 months in hospital, another 5 months recovering at home and by 30 I went back to work, got married, had my son then daughter, traveled the world with my wife and kids, and just had a blessed life with the 30 bonus years I’ve been granted…I hope for 10-15 more but if it all ended tomorrow, that would be fine..all I’ve ever dreamed of or wanted I was blessed undeservingly so with those desires and so much more….its not about how long your life is or your final age before death, its about living your life to the fullest now…what happens happens, don’t IGNORE your new disease that has the potential to rob you of happiness in your life..embrace it as a reminder everyday to Carpe Diem
I bit my nails for months and still do at times worrying. It's not easy.
