I get it my friend. Sometimes we get low and start thinking we don't have the energy to carry on. It's OK to have days like this. We don't have a magic wand to make everything better (if only) However there is a four legged friend that needs you to carry on. As a doggy mum, who lost their darling boy 3 months ago, you have Archie to think of. I would give anything to have our little one back. What would Archie do without you. You are his world. Know that it's OK to feel down but look for the little things in life. Appreciate all of Archies little quirks and when he looks at you, know there is a reason you are in this world. Get bloods done to see if you are low in iron etc. There might be a physical reason as to why you are feeling this way. You have came this far my friend, keep going. Archie is gorgeous by the way ❤️
Get new labs to see if you have anemia. Have you consulted with your doctor about finding the cause of your tiredness?. There are lots of causes and many can be fixed. Archie seems like a very sweet dog and a great companion. Best of luck.
You need to your doctor. With time we all change. A few weeks ago I thought I was having serious problems with dehydration. I was tired all the time and felt dizzy. It has been so HOT here this summer. Talked with my nephrologist and he had ordered labs. I wasn't dehydrated at all. I take a BP med in the morning and one at night. The one at night, Cardura was giving me all these symptoms. He had me stop the Cardura and keep track of my BP. I have been taking both BP meds for over 20 years. So what I am trying to tell you, that just because we have been taking some meds a long time doesn't mean they are appropriate now, especially with some new symptoms. With your symptoms it could be almost anything. Talk to your doctor ASAP. It could be meds or you could be anemic. It could be something very simple
I am almost 25 years post-transplant and my meds have to be changed frequently.
I have a question, you mentioned you got a transplant 25 years ago, your high blood pressure was high before transplant?, all the time high? Or you developed high blood pressure after the transplant of after some years of the transplant?? Thank you.
I had high BP before my transplant, in fact, that was the first symptom that I was in kidney failure. I had no other symptoms. It prompted my doctor to find out why I all or a sudden had high BP. And CKD was found.
After my transplant I didn't need any BP medicine, but with time they had to be added back in. Now, I only take one Metoprolol and my dose may be reduced.
