To be honest, I quit reading articles that don't apply to me anymore. Got an article on how to use your diet to prevent ESRD? Too late!! Already got it. Got an article on this new drug trial? Sorry, I've got enough drugs. I could lose a few and not lose sleep over it. Now, show me the article about fun things to do while hooked up to a dialyzer and I'm there. Got an article about twenty fun and exciting things to do when you get your transplant (like I don't already have a list, and mine is more than 20 items long)? I'm all over it!!
I really hope that there is something out there for all of us, but as far as some new articles are concerned, I can't be bothered.
Thank you! Like so many others, my hubby is a casualty of diabetic kidney disease. I really hope protocols like this one gets approval from regulatory agencies to help out fellow sufferers. It would be a valuable tool to tackle the devastation that disease provokes.
