I was doing an on-line search about medical advances in ckd, and happened upon this article:

duke-nus.edu.sg/medicus/200...

There are currently 3 clinical trials going on, regarding Anti IL 11 therapy. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if this is a viable treatment?

If the above link does not work, google anti IL 11 therapy Bringing new hope.

I also found a clinical trial has started in the US for this same therapy:

Mabwell Announces the U.S. FDA approval of 9MW3811 for IND:prnewswire.com/news-release...

To be honest, I quit reading articles that don't apply to me anymore. Got an article on how to use your diet to prevent ESRD? Too late!! Already got it. Got an article on this new drug trial? Sorry, I've got enough drugs. I could lose a few and not lose sleep over it. Now, show me the article about fun things to do while hooked up to a dialyzer and I'm there. Got an article about twenty fun and exciting things to do when you get your transplant (like I don't already have a list, and mine is more than 20 items long)? I'm all over it!!

I really hope that there is something out there for all of us, but as far as some new articles are concerned, I can't be bothered.
