Chitosan for raising Gfr levels?

Hello, everyone! I’ve read the research that Chitosan can really help decreasing creatinine levels. Has anyone tried it? What were results?

I remember reading about that awhile ago...What information do you have about it and I think they said it comes in gum form

I have not tried but plan to now that I have Googled it and found a lot of good information about it. The NIH has published articles about it touting the benefits some of which include lowering creatinine levels as well as cholesterol and triglycerides. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/925...

Yeah, I’ve found this research too, but this one is the only one! Some doctors say it won’t work so I’m in doubt

A lot of doctors live by the rule that if it isn't approved by the FDA (US) then it doesn't work. They don't believe in supplements. It takes away from big pharma!
