Hello Everyone,

Has anyone had a high BNP level?

Hi Sarah, I've never seen it being measured in the context of CKD, was there something specific that prompt the blood test? Hopefully its nothing to be concerned about.

Well my CKD was caused from low blood pressure (AKI) and I’m on medications to increase my blood pressure, perhaps this caused an issue with the heart. But I don’t know. I wondered if maybe CKD patients are at risk for congestive heart failure. Thanks for your reply:)

Yes I’m waiting for my doctor to explain but he also ordered more tests. Waiting makes me so anxious:/
