I used one of the links here to a survey for CKD patients by this cooperative. They call these gigs and there are others for other ailments. Hopefully participating in them brings some good in research. The CKD one is below and pays 110$ for 1 hr virtual interview. apply.savvy.coop/medicare-a...
This I have completed and it was very simple.
I have signed up for another one which is for people who need care or are are caring for someone and is about patient safety.
I too am a participant and have enjoy working with them. The perks are nice but the chance to participate in activities that might help move disease research forward is more important. They are not a scam.
I believe I might have used the link you posted! Totally agree. In my case the question was around Potassium monitoring. I think their principle is doing market research to see if there is need for real-time feedback on potassium levels. Fortunately my levels are fine and I said I would be open to such devices if I was at a stage where they required monitoring.
I told them that I am not on Medicare. However they contacted me anyway.
I started filling out the Saavy questionnaire and got to a point where I felt like I was giving way too much info about myself. I know some people will say they need it for demographics but someone could easily use all that info for other than good purposes.
