If you are asking about taking a multivitamin for CKD, you might want to look at

ProRenal +D, I actually get prescribed that product by my dialysis center so you might want to ask your doctor about it.

The price is ridiculous. Look at the label and compare it to other multivitamins. It makes me mad that companies take advantage of people with kidney and other diseases.

Yeah agree about the price being way too high. Just a quick look at Centrum silver -the product has Potassium and Phosphorus. It's probably fine for 3a, 3b. After that, I would be more careful.

If you can get ProRenal as a prescription it's probably more affordable.

Here is a link to article about vitamins and CKD from National Kidney Foundation. I was diagnosed at CKD level 3b and on a CKD diet. My Doctor monitors my medicines and prescribed a multi vitamin . (Centrum Silver or equivalent)

I was taking Centrum Silver, probably for about 15 years, maybe more, but one day I decided to stop. No doctor told me not to stop. I did it on my own for practical reasons. My doctor told me to get half of my daily calcium from food and the other half from a supplement. The Centrum gives you 300 mg of calcium. That means I would have to find a pill with 300 mg of calcium and nothing else and the make up the other 600 mg with food. I eat very healthily and I figure if I get most of the vitamins and minerals I need from food why supplement with more vitamins and minerals. There is only so much a body can take and sometimes too much is worse than not enough. It might be faulty reasoning but so far it has been okay.

I have taken various formulas of centrum for 25 years / and at one time took two centrum. I have had no complication with this vitamin.

I have taken Centrum for several years. After dx, I realized it was vitamin/mineral formula. With the pharmacist's approval, I switched to just vitamins.
