Excellent and educational report! It's wonderful to see the research and collaboration going on worldwide, including the funding going on worldwide - particularly with the Dutch and the EU stepping up like they are. Thanks so much for posting!

Thanks Darlenia. Yes this was really uplifting. The step by step (and collaborations) approach as mentioned there in will surely get us there. I also hope that Dr Roys team raises the money ( 10 million USD) so that they can in parallel keep working on the human trials even as they work on the hemo filter with the Dutch team. Overall there was so much hope in this Q&A with European policy makers and Congress coming together along with FDA proactively looking at innovation in treatments/ devices along with EU and Netherland’s kidney foundation’s collaboration and so on so forth. Keeping fingers crossed for “this decade for kidney disease” as they called it.
