Hi Braegorse - I’m guessing the time you have the nephrostromy is related to the reason for it. I inherited a kidney stone with my transplanted kidney. The docs knew about it but didn’t expect it to be an issue. Four years later, the stone worked its way down and caused blockage and prevented flow from by kidney to bladder. I had the bag for about 3 weeks until surgery was scheduled. I didn’t have any issues with the bag or procedure.
