I'm getting mine fitted next week. I believe you will be able to resume "normal" activities after 2 weeks. When I went for my scan, I was told no driving and no lifting of any heavy objects. I was also given a wrist band to wear. It states no needles or blood pressure to be taken on the fistula arm. Nothing was mentioned about not showering.

Yes, you may resume showers after 2 days.

Your fistula or graft are under the skin, so no problem with showering everyday once the site has healed in a couple of days.
