Hi I’m panicking I’ve done my own dipstick test today and for blood it’s green. My urine is clear, nothing else is high etc on the test. I do have endometriosis and have been spotting these last few days but not since this morning. I googled and came up with kidney disease or cancer.
I have been having pain above hip bone through to the back left side but figured it’s muscular as when I move it hurts more but it’s not agonising. No temp or anything either. I have had this pains on and off for 2 years I did have a ultrasound end of 2020 and I had a lot of gas as she couldn’t see the left kidney at first.
I then had a ct scan early 2021 and didn’t pick anything up, I also had a laparoscopic surgery for a swollen Fallopian tube and had it removed. Didn’t tell me anything besides endometriosis was found on bowels.
Would anything relating to my kidneys been picked up via these scans ? My bloods have always been fine too. I’m going to wait a few days and see if spotting finishes and test again ? I’m so scared

Have them test for protein in the urine which can cause blood and isn't always tested for. If you have protein in your urine that is NOT normal, even if it is trace amounts. Then they will retest in three months, and if you still have protein, then in all likelyhood you have a kidney issue regardless if the other tests are normal or not. Aside from that, stop looking for thing wrong with you, the stress alone is the #1 killer, and forgetting to enjoy each day, will likely be your biggest regret.
Great advice. From the start of my journey (which has only gotten worse, wish I just had CKD, alone - I have ANCA Vasculitis which is causing my KD), I wish I had not been so stressed all the time. Its made everything 10 times worse, if that's even possible.
Hi thanks it tests for proteins in urine too I went To urgent care today and said I had trace of leukocytes and blood so she thinks uti as rest was all clear
