Hi Newbie1956,Thanks for sharing this video of a presentation at a medical comferemce by a Nephrologist. I agree with you, it provides a lot of good information about kidney disease and ways to slow down the progression of loss of kidney function. I was particularly interested in what he said about low protein plant based diets and water consumption. I plan to watch it again and take notes.

Thank you for directing me to this video. It reinforces in my mind that I can't be in denial or complacent about processed foods. I live alone & don't like to cook, so often find myself eating out. I need to work harder own preparing my own meals!! I also take calcium supplements & have been concerned about it for awhile. I need to ask a lot more questions regarding the supplements
