Does everyone understand what can raise/lower your GFR?

Whilst there's significant uncertainty with CKD (as with most illnesses), my answer is that diet & wellbeing are key to eGFR.

Make sure you drink plenty of water a couple of hours before you get a blood test, stay cheerful, and eat the right amount of protein for your size, about 6 G/Kg of weight especially if your GFR is stage 3 or worse. Plant protein seems best for CKD and humans in general, Keto-acid type protein can dramatically slow progression of CKD, but its expensive
