For those of you who track your food, this is a really amazing FREE app.

Cronometer.

I would put the link in but it takes you to my home page. Just Google it.

It tracks all the vitamins and minerals and other food categories we need. It takes a bit to set it up. But I am trying it. I am also using MYFitnessPal.com. Cronometer is way more detailed and accurate. But it takes more time to use.

Thanks ! I’m using my fitness pal, but I agree I don’t think that the nutrition part is that accurate,

It isn't. Many people add to the data base and they just guess. But I made my own library and I check my numbers on other sites for accuracy.

Thanks for the tip. I have used My Fitness Pal for a few years now, but have not seen the app progress with new tracking trends. Like many, I have felt the app to be more of a food log/diary than a Fitness and nutrition tracker. I have downloaded the Cronometer app and am learning how to use it. It has so many features as compared to the free version of My Fitness Pal that I am blown away. I mentioned it to my sisters and they have also downloaded it to give it a look. Thanks again.

I got it a couple of weeks ago, but quickly signed up for the Gold version. I absolutely love the app. It not for it I would not know which foods to add or subtract each day depending on my various numbers for different foods. I now have the app on my computer, phone, and kindle, so I can just grap whichever is handy and log my food. I do like to do the major changes on the computer so I can drag the foods into the order I want, and add new 'recipes' etc. I am still learning my way around which foods are best for me, but I think soon the graphing will be much quicker. I think the app will be a literal life-saver for me.
