I love this, and hope you do to...

Charlie Chaplin lived 88 years

He left us 4 statements:

(1) Nothing is forever in this world, not even our problems.

(2) I love walking in the rain because no one can see my tears.

(3) The most lost day in life is the day we don't laugh.

(4) Six best doctors in the world...:

1. The sun

2. Rest

3. Exercise

4. Diet

5. Self-respect

6. Friends

Stick to them at all stages of your life and enjoy a healthy life...

If you see the moon, you will see the beauty of God...

If you see the sun, you will see the power of God...

If you see a mirror, you will see God's best creation. So believe it.

We are all tourists, God is our travel agent who has already identified our routes, bookings and destinations... trust him and enjoy life.

Life is just a journey! Therefore, live today!

Tomorrow may not be.

A good time to read those. I have/had a wooden sign with #1 engraved on it. I didn't know it was credited to CC. I kept it on a wall in my classroom until I retired.

I passed it on to a former student who also became a Special Ed teacher, and the last I heard she had it on the wall in her class.

Thanks for helping me remember the times I used it in counseling a student.

Have a great day.

Thanks. I always try to be positive, even when it is really hard. When I went for my transplant, I always remember a nurse telling me that I would do well, because I had the right attitude. Some on this site don't believe that a positive attitude helps. I do! I think I am proof of it - 21 years and counting.

Ya, #1 is great. That is really neat that you had that "saying" on a plaque in your classroom. Who knew...

Take care and stay well.

So many folks do ignore the positive aspect of dealing with health issues, especially chronic ones. A positive attitude helps you get through the days after a bad lab report or diagnostic test. I've said too many times don't let one report, good or bad, disrupt your routine, and having a positive mental outlook is the way to avoid the doldrums.

Stay well.

I love this post. Its 4.30 a.m. and im sitting in my chair in reflective mode thinking how amazing we are. Ive had a year since my husband died trying to find something. I got a cat which is amazing but I thought this was it . Worst was 8 months home alone but unable to get out even in the garden so much pain. I bought a disability scooter, a good one, a new one and suddenly the adrenaline is going! I feel alive again. Ive been out twice and absolutely love it! I didn't know I had it in me! Yes I know I still have heart failure and ,idney disease but even if this is a brief respite I will enjoy every minute.
