Hello, im 24 years old male 1 week ago I noticed that my pee was foamy in the morning sometimes, but not always
I started to piss in a cup and noticed that my urine was also cloudy sometimes
I got an urinalysis done but they got my urine when its not foamy or cloudy , I drink a lot of water before the test so maybe the test is not accurate ?
Anyway the result
albumin < 0.5 mg/dl
creatinine : 42 mg/dl , normal : 58-140 ( low number probably due to drinking water)
egfr last month : 114 ( ckd-epi)
bacteria less than 10^3, no epithelial cell, no blood, no white blood cell, no crystal
my question is : is the urinalysis still accurate ? since i drink water before test
im really concerned about it, im mainly afraid of cancer and kidney disease

Hello there, batktf! Sounds to me like your results are awesome! Kudos to you! Drinking water and staying hydrated is good for everyone, so that’s never a bad thing, whether you’re preparing for bloodwork or not.
Sometimes, urine can appear foamy, especially in the toilet because of output speed, believe it or not. Even dark urine can sometimes just be because most people don’t drink enough water to flush their systems properly, and the urine is just more concentrated. Cloudy urine can sometimes be a sign of a bladder or urinary tract infection, but if that was happening, your doctor would be addressing that with you.
Is there a reason why you’re concerned about cancer? Has this issue ever been raised by your doctor(s)? I ask these questions because I know that sometimes, people in their early twenties (much as I also did), can become overly anxious about their health. But, as I said before, your numbers sound like a snapshot of perfect health to me. If you’re still concerned about it for any reason, speak to your doctor and she / he can explain your results to you.
Please don’t waste your time and your youth, worrying and fretting, when there is no reason to. Enjoy your good health every day. Sounds like you’re doing an amazing job of taking proper care of yourself. Keep up the good work, and God bless. 😊👍👍
