Handwashing and Coronavirus

With Coronavirus spreading, proper hand washing is even more important...but it also dries out our skin...Chapped and cracked skin can open entry points for disease and virus so moisturizing skin is also important..I worked in a Surgical Center where we washed our hands constantly and I ended up with Hand Eczema...my Dermotologist recommended a hand lotion to apply after each washing called "Gloves in a Bottle"...it coats the chaffed skin and moisturizes..basically giving you an invisible glove...Walmart sales this product if that helps anyone

Dear RhwnSutchess123,

I, tend to use, either my Prescribed Steroid cream, or an Avon Product- I took full advantage, of a 'Silly Offer' they had last year. 5 creams/ lotions, for five pounds- I Did it twice. I'm currently using a, beautiful smelling, Banana one. I'll bear the Liquid Gloves, in mind though, thanks for that.

Take care, of yourself

That's great...one thing I like about the Gloves in a Bottle is that it doesnt have fragrance added...but any coating is better than none..You take care too !!

Dear RhwnSutchess123,

I have been into Town today and 'Renewed', my acquaintance, with a Stallholder in the Covered Market. A lovely stall, Dream Catchers, Diffusers- I bought my good friend, and neighbour, a beautiful Carved Joss Stick Burner, along with some 'Spare' sticks.

Whilst there I Picked Up, the latest Avon book- they are 'Reps', for them. Looking through, I found 'Avon Care, Silicon Glove, Protective Hand Cream', which I might buy once my current supply runs out.

I had a Nice meal, again in the Covered Market, bought several DVDs- from a few different sources- and generally enjoyed a pleasant afternoon. (I was also Very Lucky, with the bus home- literally at the stop.) Once In, I spent about twenty minutes, carefully cleaning my 'new' DVD's.

Wow. Thank you very much for that. Never heard of that one. Being diabetic, I suffer from dry skin pretty much all over, but my hands are worse always being immersed in soapy dish water. So, I thank you again for that advice. I’m going to give it a try. Much appreciated! 😊👍

I need some of this. Satin Hands sold by Avon also works great. I really like Eucerin cream. It is pricey but a little bit goes a long way so it lasts forever.

The hand soap I get from Fresenius has moiurizer and it keeps my skin soft. I also use Avon Intensive Healing and Repair cream, which has no fragrance.

My cousin, who used 2 be a nurse, recommended a hand sanitizer soap. It's called "Hibiclens". You find it in first aid section of drugstore. It can also be used as wound care. Same soap a surgeon would use to scrub in b4 any surgery. At least that's what package says. It's in a blue box with hot pink writing. Comes in 2 sizes. 8 oz and 16 oz. I have Family size of Gold Bond, Radiance Renewal cream oil lotion (has coconut oil, cocoa butter, African shea butter. Other lotion recommended is Silicon by Avon. You can buy online. I've used it b4. Something is wrong with my self taught phone/computer skills 😂 I can't see other comment with other lotion recommended.
