Is your urine cloudy? This most recent description sounds a lot like the symptoms I present when I have a urinary track infection.

Your primary care physician can run labs on a urine sample to determine if that’s what is going on. If so, it’s both fairly common and treatable. You’d just be put on antibiotics for a few days.

I’d start by calling my primary care doctor’s office and describing my symptoms. I’d likely then be asked to come in to see a nurse or nurse practitioner. They’d probably take a urine sample and run some tests. Contingent upon the results, they’d prescribe antibiotics if needed.

I’d still call my primary care physician. For me, I’ll present the symptoms you describe often also including mild nausea before I actually see cloudy urine. Eventually my urine will become cloudy.

Well, it sounds like you have decided you’re just going to wait to talk with the nephrologist at the follow-up biopsy visit. That’s a good plan.
