I have ckd stage 3 gfr39, controlled hypertension Bp usually around 134/68 and type 2 insulin dependant diabetes. In the past 2to 3 weeks I am having difficulty maintaining my blood glucose levels usually down to 3.5 before meals I have reduced insulin and increased carbs but from what I have read insulin is renally cleared , does this mean my kidneys can no longer cope.
