Do you have a favorite spring sport or activity? Have you had to modify your exercise routine due to kidney disease?

I have had to modify my exercise routine since diagnosed with CKD. I no longer do 1 step aerobics, but do Silver Sneakers ( exercise program for seniors) and chair yoga.

I am with you on the chair yoga. Am also working on chair tai chi and Tai Chi for those over 50. Worked into it gradually and am feeling myself getting stronger.

As soon as it warms up I am out in my garden pruning, planting, digging and generally taking care of my favorite space. I also have a treadmill but I prefer to go for a walk when I can.

I do intense road cycling so 50-60 miles on a Sunday and as Ive only just found out by accident at my doctors that I have Stage 3. Ive had no guidance as to whether Im over doing it or not!? Vit D deficiency which Im being treated for now. Having to change my diet as too much salt and fats etc so a bit of a shock to the system. Obv exercise is important but when does it impact on the kidneys?
