Generally speaking bubbles in the urine could be due to protein in the urine. So if you have protein in the urine with a decrease in urine output you should see your primary care doctor and tell him this. Most likely he will run a blood test for a renal panel and will be able to see how well your kidneys are functioning.

Like what 3kidneys said: see your primary and they should run a renal panel. Given you're having back pain, an ultrasound may be in order as well. Having such bad back pain can mean infection, stones, etc., so getting it checked out soon would be best.

I agree with my community members. I would not wait. You might have a kidney stone or an infection which can cause more harm if left unattended. So go to the Doctor as soon as possible. mayoclinic.org/diseases-con...

Bubbles was the first thing my son noticed when he was losing protein.
