I have 2 things to ask about. #1: bp Staying up. Running 140 - 150/89-98 My dr recently uped my lisinopril to 20. Worked a week now back up. What could this be. Staying pretty well hydrated (urine light and clear). I think it is going up late afternoon to evenings. How often should I check my bp to get an idea of any pattern but not over check it

#2: do any of you have other symptoms other than increased bp when you have too much sodium

Cut sodium from your diet, this is not as easy as said because it's in so much. Start by not adding it to cooking water, limit ready packed food even salads. Go back to making your own sauces so you know exactly what in stuff. If you need to lose weight even the smallest amount can help and try by walking 4 times a week. Small changes can really help with blood pressure.

Take your bp in the morning before you get up and lunchtime and late evening. Doing you bp after a hot drink or meal can increase it so do it before this and don't cross your legs either.

Good luck and hope it settles
