How I went from stage 3 to end stage in a month

I am also new to kidney disease. One day I woke up to swelling and it progressed very fast I was already stage 3. I swole up until I could barely move and stopped urinating, told my husband i needed to go to hospital low and behold was diagnosed with end stage kidney failure,they took off 40lbs of fluid May of this year I started dialysis

Wow so they took off all that fluid with dialysis in a month? Mine progressed from 20% to nothing in a month after I had an abcess in tooth removed without antibiotics. It can be scary. Have you gone to kidneyschool.org or My Dialysis My Choice at HomeDialysisCentral.org ? They have wonderful educational tools.

Stage 4 when i found out. Had emergency dialysis access. in 3rd. wk. of dialysis.Have many issues as i have diabetes and chronic pancreatis. so many body and life style changes. doing in center for now. looking for much needed support. have so much nausea. very fatigued and emotionally drained. my heart goes out to all who battle esrd.
