Chronic kidney disease stage 3

I"m at stage 3 chronic kidney disease had it for a few years now also my palets are really low my potassium is high my iron is fine now I have a urinary tract infection my 1st one need help on a diet I"ll be seeing a Nephrology in may also have low blood pressure

I am stage 3 also. My Doctor gave me an appropriate renal diet. Your Nephrologist should be able to prescribe an appropriate diet for you. Davit web site also has some recipes for CKD Non Dialysis. you must select that option. My RBC (platelets) is on the low side also. You are on the right track with a nephrologist.

I have stage 3 also. Dash diet, National kidney foundation, Davita and Pinterest r excellent sources for recipes and information. I have had problems with my potassium and sodium. Also BP and cholesterol so we have to keep an eye on what things we eat for sure and that can be challenging but rewarding when our numbers stay the same or rise some. Hang in there. U can do it.
