Do you experience this? I have been for the last couple months, everyday throughout the day in my hands/fingers, feet/toes. It doesn't necessarily hurt most of the time, but sometimes it seems like they lock up a bit until the spasm is over or I use my other hand to move it. Is this something I should mention to the nephrologist or primary care doctor?

Muscle twitches/spasms
Yes it is something you should mention to your nephrologist. It may be a deficiency. Toe cramps could be a sign of being deficient in potassium. I’d give them a call, they may want labs to see where your levels are with things such as sodium, potassium, etc.
Best to check with your Primary Doctor or Nephrologist. I experienced this and after tests was diagnosed with Peripheral Neuropathy, Idiopathic, and received a prescription med.
I use to suffer with this and it was always there when my potassium and sodium were low. Definitely mention it to your doctor and check your lab results. Low magnesium can sometime have that same feeling. Don't change anything in your diet until you check. It's easy to increase these things with foods
Take care
