Is it coincidence?

Sometimes I wonder why did I get kidney disease? Why me?

But in my situation isn’t it ironic how my very first (real) job I worked for a medical transportation business that transports patients to and from dialysis? And that this became a family business? And that my dad has been a dialysis technician for over 20 years?

It's surely an interesting coincidence! I have those why me moments, too. But I believe there is an order and purpose to all things. Perhaps it was all to educate you ahead of your diagnosis? I have decided that i am using my disease to educate others, advocate early detection, and champion a cure. It helps to know it's not for nothing.

Thanks cmaxwell78 . Yes I'm sure maybe it was to educate me and prepare me in the long run. And now that I have kidney disease and I am looking for a donor I try my best to educate my family and friends about the disease and being a donor.
